1997, 16mm, 5min, color, silent

Abstract painting on top of the filmstrip creates a totally plastic impression. Layers of alcohol-based colors with acrylic finish create a snowstorm of flying white dots. Basic layers of transparent colors were washed with chemicals, covered over with masks, further conditioned and overprinted by samples of film perforation. The picture moves between frames but also in the centerline in relation to the spectator and mutually in the picture layers. The original painting on 16mm film (1997 version) was printed in half speed onto the Kodak negative (2000 version).
