2003+2006, performance 16mm
Multi-screen 16mm installation in a remake of the classic Lumiére brothers’ film.
Based on computer retouched single frames of the original movie videotape, the individual frames were printed on A4 paper and thereafter re-animated on 16mm film. The first performance (at New Media Cheb 2003) was a 10 minute projection of modified Lumiere brothers’ loop enhanced by an abstract animation (music by Ludmila Chábová). In 2006, as a part of ‘Slapdash Platform’ performance evening, the material of the first performance was re-used in a multi-projection installation (at Školská 28 Gallery, Prague, in co-operation with Tonic Train, Tape-beatles and Ondřej Vavrečka).
